Avaya Phone System Repair

The Avaya Partner Phone System History

The Avaya Partner ACS phone system was the leading small business phone system in the US for many years. It has support for 48 extensions with up to 31 phone lines.

The Avaya Partner Phone System comes in many configurations.  The first generations of the Avaya Partner Phone System were the Partner 206 modules which provided a basic phone system with 2 lines and 6 extensions. It has very limited features as a stand alone phone system but could also be used as an expansion module within a two or five slot carrier.  Have one of these older phone system?  We are experts in Avaya Phone System Repair.

Partner Phone System 206 Module

This was the very first AT&T Partner phone system for those looking for a simple, easy to use small business phone system.  It only allowed 2 lines and 6 extensions and did not support voice mail or caller ID.  We still see these modules being in system used today.  The most common problem found with this module is static after the relays start to wear.

While this phone system has long been discontinued, we offer phone system repair by replacing this module to a new model.

AT&T Partner Plus Processors were added to allow support for more lines and extensions to the phone system.  These AT&T Partner Phone System Processors did not have any built-in extension or line ports and required a two or five slot carrier along with expansion cards to work.

While this phone system has long been discontinued, we offer Avaya phone system repair by replacing this module to a new model.

Avaya Partner II Processors were very similar to the Avaya Partner Plus Processors but had the ability to add a second five slot carrier allowing expansion up to 16 lines and 48 extensions.  This expansion required a special connection cable between the two cabinets.  Version 3 introduced called ID to the Avaya Partner Phone System for the first time.

While this phone system has long been discontinued, we offer Avaya phone system repair by replacing this module to a new model.

There were also release 7 and 8 processors that supported 5 lines and 9 extensions without any carrier.

Another advantage to the Avaya Partner ACS Processors is that you can backup the system programming in case of programming loss.  To prevent losing programming on your ACS Processor you need to keep an eye on the display of extension 10 or 11.  When the AAA batteries need to be changed the system will display on Extension 10 and 11 a message “ChgBat W/PowerOn or ReplaceSysBat W/Power On”  If you lose AC power when the batteries are dead all of your programming will be lost.

Our certified Avaya phone system repair technicians can quickly restore your phone system programming in the event you lose all programming.
